Xiao-Song Zhao, MD, is a board-certified neurologist providing comprehensive treatment for neurological conditions including epilepsy/seizures, multiple sclerosis, headaches, stroke, movement disorders, dementia, peripheral nerve and muscle diseases, and more. Dr. Zhao is subspecialized in neuromuscular medicine and also trained in providing botulinum toxin injections, EMG/NCs and most basic neurological procedures.
Dr. Zhao obtained his medical degree at Tongji Medical University in Wuhan, China where he also practiced infectious disease and preventative medicine for a short time. Later, he received his PhD from the Shanghai Medical University. After his research fellowship with the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Zhao then moved to Ohio to complete his residency and clinical fellowship with The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He has been practicing neurology in Columbus ever since.
Dr. Zhao has a passion for neurology and values personalized, patient-centered care. He takes the time to get to know and understand each of his patients. He believes in caring for the individual first then working with them to provide the best care possible. When not spending time with his patients, Dr. Zhao enjoys playing tennis and traveling with his family.
