Brian F. Seaman, DO, FACOS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, specializing in the care of the adult neurosurgical patient.
Dr. Seaman's expertise includes cranial and spinal oncology, with a special interest in complex spinal reconstruction for metastatic tumors. Additionally, Dr. Seaman treats the full range of spinal pathology, utilizing the latest computer assisted navigational technologies available.
Dr. Seaman attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in human biology. His medical training was completed at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Seaman’s neurosurgical internship was completed at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. His neurosurgical residency training was obtained at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. This was followed by a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology and complex spinal surgery at the H. Lee Moffitt Research and Cancer Center at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He is the Associate Program Director of the Neurosurgery Residency Program at OhioHealth. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Seaman lives in Powell, Ohio, with his wife, Holly and their two children.
